Question: How can you use the verse of Luke 19:27?
The context is the “Kingdom of God” ( v.11), and as seen in v.12, the owner went to “a far country”.
The context is the Jewish rebellion against Almighty God (see Malachi), and God’s efforts to draw His chosen people back to Him, and to honour their vows which they gave in Deuteronomy!
The outcome is shown in v.27, which refers to Matt. 25 (sheep and goat judgement)!
It has to be remembered that Jesus only ever spoke to the Jews in the context of the “Law given to Moses”, and not to the teachings of the Pharisees, and that remained until Acts 28:25–28; after which the main focus transferred to the Gentiles (as per. the prophecy of Isa.6:9–10); and will remain with the Gentiles until Romans 11:25 is completed; and then Zech.12:10 will be enacted, and Israel will return to the “Ammi” condition, and the Millennial Reign will start!
